"The Negotiator"
The Negotiator (R)DM: Police hostage negotiator Danny Roman (Samuel L. Jackson) is accused of murder and dealing drugs and holds the Internal Affairs division of the police station hostage to prove his innocence.
This is not just your run-of-the-mill thriller with a lot of action and explosions, although there are plenty of both.
If you enjoy action thrillers where you actually have to think to keep up with the plot, this one's for you.
