Breitenbach Plum of Breitenbach Wine Cellars in Dover won Best in Class Fruit Wine. Breitenbach makes 15 fruit and berry wines.
Frost Fire is a sweet blend of American variety grapes and won a gold medal. A gold medal is reserved for a wine exhibiting perfect varietal character, balance and structure and containing exceptional qualities and complexities.
Roadhouse Red, another signature wine at the winery, is a blend of estate-grown grapes at Breitenbach Vineyards. Roadhouse Red earned a silver medal at the competition.
Breitenbach Wine Cellars produces several premium dry reds. Cabernet Sauvignon, a hearty fruit forward dry red, won a silver medal. Merlot, a smooth dry red with notes of dark fruit flavors and undertones of vanilla, won a bronze medal.
