The event will feature a panel of speakers who will discuss small business resources, websites and community development.

                        

Small business owners in Southern Tuscarawas County can learn about business resources, websites and community development during the Small Business Social on May 5 from 5:30-7 p.m. in Dennison.

The event will be held at the Streetside Center, formerly the Masonic Lodge, and will feature a panel of speakers who will discuss small business resources, websites and community development. The panel includes the following:

—Dan Vorisek, Rural Action Resilient Communities director, who will speak about the Kiva loan platform and community development in Appalachia.

—Mary Popa, Rural Action Resilient Communities, who will discuss website design.

—Stephen Schillig, director at Ohio Small Business Development Center at Kent State Tuscarawas, who will talk about what his office offers and provides.

There will be time for questions and a large group conversation. Light refreshments will be served.
