Continuing the efforts of growth and development, the city of Dover has announced the launch of its new Web site. The site can be viewed at www.doverohio.com. The site serves as a resource of information for current citizens and provides an attractive first look at Dover for potential residents and businesses. “For the past 18-plus years, Dover’s steady growth, coupled with our commitment to provide our residents, business and industry with unparalleled services at the least cost possible, has affirmed our belief that Dover is one of the most desirable communities in the Tuscarawas Valley to call home,” Dover Mayor Richard Homrighausen said. “With the construction of the I-77 interchange at the north end of the city, we are projecting increased interest from businesses looking to expand or locate their operations in Dover and we want to make sure we present the city in the best manner possible.” Other services provided on the site include updated city council minutes, information about services and utilities, and general information about living in the city. “The site is a great resource for all who have interest in our city,” Homrighausen said. “From electric rates to real estate contacts, we’ve tried to answer all the questions our community asks. The site has been designed to grow, and we expect to provide more and more information as needed.” The Web site was designed and programmed by Whitemyer Advertising of Zoar. Additional features will be added in the future, including an interactive map that will locate available business buildings and building sites, as well as business and industrial zones.
