Natures congratulates another CNHP graduate
Natures Food Market recently announced its fourth Certified Natural Health Professional graduate in the last three years. A Certified Natural Health Professional (CNHP) has several key foundational areas that they cover. These include areas such as nutrition, anatomy and physiology, and herbal therapy. Once a student completes the five certification seminars they earn their certificate. It is not the purpose of the school to license individuals, rather to recognize the hard work and study needed to complete the described courses. Annually, many nurses as well as massage therapists, attend the courses because they are recognized as a continuing education unit which is required from these professionals to maintain their license.
At Natures, continuing education is one of the most important foundations for the staff. It enables them to answer your health questions and stay current with new trends and research. It also enables another goal of the store to be met which is education of their loyal customers. Owner Zedrick Clark notes, As our customers become more educated on wellness and natural living they share this information and their stories of healing with others. This increases the amount of concerns that can be dealt with before they are bad enough to have to go see a medical practitioner.
Jen Miller is the newest addition to the team of CNHPs at Natures. Previous graduates include Diane Shoup, LeAnna Kandel and Zedrick Clark. You can find these employees often working the sales floor and they will use their expertise to help you make the right choices and educate you on the many high quality products found throughout the store. In addition to the helpful staff, Natures also carries a wide selection of literature and books as well as an in-store health kiosk and an online resource guide at www.naturesfoodmarket.com.
