It was only a soft opening for the Nature's Food Market/Miss Gadgets team, but for the Troyer Country Market company, it marked a step toward creating a well-rounded community of stores that should enhance the publics' ability to find what they need in a single stop.

On Thursday, May 8, Troyer's Country Market introduced its two newest members, Nature's and Miss Gadgets, as part of its company on the corner of state Route 39 and CR 77 in Berlin.

“It's still obviously a work in progress, much like our lives,” said owner John Troyer. “Bringing in Nature's was always what we wanted to do, but in our minds, having a kitchenwares store too. Our store has to do with food, and we wanted to provide that in a complete way. I think it's a great fit with Nature's and Miss Gadgets because we now have taken steps to make people's lives easier in the kitchen, with everything right here at one stop.”

Troyer said that the soft opening, which came with little fanfare, saw a number of people doing their shopping at Troyer's, and then wandering down to the new stores to check out the new facilities.

He said that they have expanded some of their lines, and more importantly, he believes they now offer something to suit every taste.

“With this move, we now have a blend of stair steps of health,” said Troyer.

People can find everything from fresh foods to Troyer's canned goods, to healthy diet foods.

“We've made big strides to meet the needs of the health-conscious people out there,” said Troyer. “Not that a lot of our foods weren't fresh and healthy already.”

With a busy summer schedule now barreling at them, Troyer said they hope to have the official grand opening of the businesses within two to three weeks.
