The Schoenbrunn Conference Center, formerly the McDonald/Marlite Conference Center, was purchased on July 1 by Garland NP LLC/Gary Rubel. Rubel then turned the operational part of the conference center over to Nivea Hospitality, an independent property management company. Nivea Hospitality is excited to have another great property in New Philadelphia and have received a warm welcome from the community, according to a spokesperson. Under the direction of Nivea Hospitality and Lynette Sciarini, complex director, the Schoenbrunn Conference Center will continue to serve the needs in Tuscarawas County and the surrounding area. Debbie Knisley serves as the events director, Bobby Lolli as the executive chef, and the serving staff round out the team at the center. Schoenbrunn Catering is also part of the Schoenbrunn Complex. Lolli provides a unique flair to each event with his expertise in Italian and American fare. Nivea Hospitality’s goal is to enhance a property through team building, a service attitude and a willingness to give back to the community. As a third party management and development partner of developments and resorts, Nivea Hospitality is committed to delivering excellence in all areas of property development, and the opportunity to add Schoenbrunn Conference Center to its family is an exciting endeavor as Nivea Hospitality expands. Nivea Hospitality’s partners include Robert Schlabach, Brian Miller and Tom Miller. The Nivea Hospitality brand also has several other hotels, featuring the Wallhouse brand hotels, Sleep Inn in Belmont, Oak Ridge Inn at Walnut Creek and the Schoenbrunn Inn.
