Suzanne Trimmer, Dennielle Stull and Rochelle Ring, of Solid Rock Photos at Dover, have returned from the Senior and Youth National Conference (SYNC) for professional photographers. The conference was held at the Trade Winds Resort in St. Petersburg Beach, Florida. One of the profession’s newest and most popular conferences, SYNC is an educational event with the top speakers in the nation sharing business, photography, marketing, sales and photoshop techniques in the field of senior portraits. “Being able to take our staff makes a huge difference,” noted Trimmer, who owns Solid Rock along with her husband, Denny. “We ask a lot of Dennielle and Rochelle throughout the year. SYNC helps not only with new techniques and fresh ideas, but because our entire staff is at the conference it is much easier to bring those ideas home and implement them. For a growing studio like ours, SYNC is the best of both worlds - the best speakers and newest programs in the industry at an affordable price. Senior photos are the cornerstone of Solid Rock’s business. Earlier this year, the company was recognized for outstanding work by Senior Portrait Artists (spa) during the organization’s annual convention. Solid Rock, still with a calendar full of Class of 2010 seniors ahead over the next two months, uses learning opportunities like SYNC and spa to guide and give direction for how the company will handle next years’ seniors.  “We have been laying out our framework for the Class of 2011 since October,” Trimmer said. “These conferences help us finalize those plans, and give us the motivation and inspiration to really ramp up what we do and how we do it.”
