Solid Rock Photos ready for back to school fashion show

Solid Rock Photos (SRP), through its Solid Rock Photos Charitable Foundation, and in conjunction with its strategic business partners, is gearing up for a back to school fashion show that will benefit the United Way of Tuscarawas County. Rock Your Style will be the areas biggest and best back to school show of its kind. The event will take place, Rockstar-style, in a world class event venue – The Performing Arts Center at Kent State Tuscarawas on Thursday, August 18, at 7 p.m.
The Rock stars of the show will be the Class of 2012 Rockstar Senior Models, along with a special appearance by SRPs Rising Stars. In total, nearly 60 area students will be participating, representing New Philadelphia, Dover, Claymont, Strasburg, Tuscarawas Central Catholic, Conotton Valley, Fairless and Indian Valley school districts as well as the Quaker Digital Academy and Buckeye Career Center. They will be featuring the hottest clothes and accessories, along with the hippest hairstyles for the upcoming school year.
We have always worked under the idea that what we do is so much bigger than just photography, its having the chance to change lives in a positive way, noted Solid Rock owner Suzanne Trimmer. Being able to use our name and our event to raise money for the United Way is certainly a good thing, and we are thrilled with the turnout of our Rockstars and Rising Stars and know that this event will be memorable for them as well. This isnt your run-of-the-mill show – it is going to be fast-paced, hard-driving and lots of fun.
A Vendors Marketplace will be open one hour prior to the show as well as immediately following.
