Steiner appointed to Ohio Banking Commission
Eddie Steiner, president and CEO of CSB Bancorp, Inc., and its wholly-owned subsidiary, The Commercial and Savings Bank, was appointed by Gov. Kasich to the Ohio Banking Commission May 14 for a term ending Jan. 31, 2015.
The Banking Commission is established by Section 1123.01 of the Ohio Revised Code and serves as an advisory body to the superintendent and deputy superintendent of the Ohio Division of Financial Institutions. The commission also reviews and confirms the annual supervisory fee assessments for state-chartered banks.
Meetings of the Banking Commission are open to the public and are held quarterly at the offices of the Division of Financial Institutions. The next meeting is scheduled for August 14 at 10 a.m.
