Residents of the Loudonville-Perrysville area are encouraged to register for Christmas help online.

This year the Loudonville Church Women will coordinate the 2023 Day of Sharing on Dec. 5 at the Loudonville Church of the Nazarene.

To help keep shoppers out of the cold and provide a less stressful time for all, the hours have been changed to 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Each family that registers will choose a time to come when they enter their information online.

The Loudonville Church Women and Helping Hand will collaborate to provide food coupons to Stakes IGA in Loudonville. Food coupons can only be used for food and household products, no alcohol or tobacco products. Coupons not picked up on the Day of Sharing will be mailed out. Coupons will expire Dec. 31.

New toys are being purchased and collected for the parents or guardians of children birth through 18 who live in the Loudonville-Perrysville School District. Parents or guardians may shop for each child. When registering, complete the section regarding your child’s age and gender so the Loudonville Church Women can make sure they have plenty of items for everyone.

The Store will be open with a Christmas room full of decorations, wrapping paper, Christmas trees and cards. The volunteers also will collect personal hygiene items, children’s pajamas and winter coats.

Registration will take place through Nov. 26 with no exceptions. There are several ways to register including online at www.surveymonkey.com/r/WJZW5ZF or by calling 614-571-5352 Monday through Friday from 1-3 p.m. to complete a phone survey. Leave a message if you do not get an answer.

If you would like to collaborate with the Loudonville Church Women by donating items or money, Shrivers Pharmacy will collect hats and gloves for all ages, Fusion 166 will have a donation box for toys and coats, or items can be dropped off at The Store on Monday or Wednesday mornings.
