Dr. Adams to speak at Bolivar church July 19
Dr. David Adams, a 1968 graduate of Tuscarawas Valley High School, will be the guest speaker at the 10 a.m. worship service in the Bolivar Weslyean Church, 241 Pine St., Bolivar, on July 19.Dr. Adams was an outstanding student leader while he attended Tuscarawas Valley High School. He graduated from Bible Baptist College in Arlington, Texas, and then received his doctorate from Liberty Baptist College. He served as head youth pastor at Thomas Road Baptist Church in Lynchburg, Va., before becoming a professor at Boyce College in Louisville, Ky. Dr. Adams is president of Youth International, which ministers to youth in all 50 states and four continents. He recently received the Legacy Award for having taught more pastors and youth pastors than any other professor. He encourages young people to love God, love people, and make a difference in the lives of others.
