Malone University Alumni Chorale to perform
The newly formed Malone University Alumni Chorale will be in concert at the Walnut Creek Mennonite Church, 269 County Road 144, Sugarcreek, north of Walnut Creek Cheese, starting at 7 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 4.
Members of the group include those who graduated in the late 1960s through the present. Their repertoire includes "Thine is the Glory," the MU Alma Mater, "Here I am Lord," Lutkinʼs "The Lord Bless You and Keep You," "Mennonite Doxology" and many more sacred songs.
Former Malone University chorale members who would like to sing can attend a rehearsal at 6 p.m. prior to the concert in the church sanctuary.
A senior music major at Malone University, Levi Matheri Muriuki is the pianist while Darius McBride and Les Widder will co-direct.
