The Orrville Grace Brethren Church has announced it will offer seminary-level Bible classes in Orrville. This fall semester there will be two courses offered: God and the World and Biblical (Koine) Greek. Both of these classes will be offered at the Orrville Grace Brethren Church building at 2200 Paradise Road in Orrville.
God and the World (three credit hours) will be taught by Pastor Ike Graham and will meet on Saturdays at 8:30 a.m., beginning Sept. 14. This class is the third of six theology courses covering the major theological topics of the Bible in a systematic fashion.
God and the World focuses on creation, Satan, angels, sin and anthropology. The course costs $50 to audit and $150 when taken for credit.
Biblical (Koine) Greek (four credit hours) is a beginning-level course designed to teach the students the basics of Biblical (Koine) Greek. Dan Najimian will teach this course. He has a Master of Theology degree from Grace Theological Seminary, where he majored in Biblical (Koine) Greek. The class will meet two times per week and begin in the middle of September. A finalized schedule will work around interested participants. The course costs $50 to audit and $200 when taken for credit.
