New Philadelphia First United Methodist Church warmly welcomes all children ages 3 years (potty trained) through fifth grade to share a week of vacation Bible school Aug. 2-6 as they explore “Everest: Conquering Challenges with God's Mighty Power.”

Sign-in begins each evening at 5 p.m. Parents are invited to join in the daily wrap-up at 7:40 p.m. until the session concludes at 8 p.m. Children will share a light meal, stories, songs and many activities reinforcing the week's theme.

“Come to Everest VBS where VBS promises to be mountains of fun,” Josh Hughes, director of Christian education and discipleship, said. “Plus, kids walk away with a rock-solid faith that they can rely on God when life gets tough. Join our climbing team; register to be a part of Everest VBS.”

Parents can learn more about VBS and register their children at www.npfirstumc.org or by calling 330-339-6411. The church is located at 201 W. High Ave., New Philadelphia.
