Dover VFW Aux donates to Share-a-Christmas

The Nov. 10 Dover Ladies VFW Auxiliary meeting was held at the Geib Family Center in Dover. Jane Conkle gave the opening prayer and Margaret Stocker gave an inspirational reading. Pat Adams, second vice president, conducted the meeting. The secretary’s report was read by Sandy Edwards and approved. Nancy Whitehair read the treasurer’s report and it was approved. Margaret Stocker moved and Donna Fox seconded the motion to give $100 to Share-a-Christmas, plus what is collected from the members at the Christmas party. The next regular meeting will be held Jan. 12, 2011, at the Geib Family Center in Dover, at 7 p.m. This year’s Christmas party will be held on Wednesday, Dec. 8, at the Pro’s Table, at 5:30 p.m. All auxiliary members are invited. Members will order from the menu and a $5 donation each will be collected for Share-a-Christmas. Make reservations by calling Pat Adams at 330-343-5768 by Dec. 6.
