Moreland Garden Club’s fundraiser plant sale is May 10

The Moreland Garden Club will hold its annual fundraiser plant sale on Saturday, May 10 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Franklin Township Garage, 132 W. Moreland Road, Wooster. As in previous years, customers who preordered hanging baskets, potted plants or flats may pick up their orders at the sale. Everyone is welcome to shop for additional annuals and locally hardy perennials dug from members’ gardens.
Funds from the sale will be used by the club to continue its monthly programs at the Wayne County Care Center, where residents take part in a nature craft or activity. In addition, the Moreland Garden Club provides annual scholarship funds to ATI students and plants and maintains a public garden at the corner of Moreland Road and state Route 83 in Moreland.
