The Wilderness Center Nature Photo Club will host its monthly meeting on July 27 at 9:30 a.m. at the center in Wilmot. Learn how to create nature videos without special equipment. Most digital cameras today also can capture video clips.

Jerry Jelinek from the Cuyahoga Valley Photographic Society will teach attendees how to use the capabilities already available in their digital camera to expand their photographic vision and get started telling stories using video images. He will show examples, describe basic video techniques and explain how one’s mindset needs to change in order to approach a subject via video rather than through traditional still images.

Jelinek has enjoyed digital photography for nearly 20 years and has taught classes, conducted photo walks, and given presentations in the Cleveland area and throughout Northern Ohio.

The Wilderness Center is located at 9877 Alabama Ave. SW in Wilmot. This program is free and open to the public. More information is available at www.twcnpc.com.
