Bonnie Porter was the best weekly loser. She said to eat four servings of vegetables each day.

Lana Rush was the best weekly KOPS.

The program was “Make Over Your Weight Loss Strategy” from Prevention Magazine in 2023. Begin by creating a friendship with food. Be sure you get enough fiber. Focus on protein. Get enough healthy fat, like from seafood. Cut down on sugar. Check drinks for calories. Eat from a small plate, then slow down and enjoy each bite.

TOPS meets at Nashville Global Methodist Church on Wednesdays at 5:30 p.m., with weigh-in at 5 p.m. The first meeting is free.
