Rush presents program on finding motivation
On March 12, TOPS OH1573 Nashville had a No Gainer.
Geneva Pringle was the best weekly loser. She said to drink water the first thing in the morning and eat more fruit and veggies.
Lana Rush was the best weekly KOPS.
Rush presented the program from the November/December TOPS News from an article titled “Finding Your Motivation.” Carol Brown, a 90-year-old, gave her reasons for belonging to TOPS. She said if you can’t resist certain foods, do not allow them in your house. She listed 10 unreasonable excuses — things like eating over the sink doesn't count or crumbs on the cake plate do not count because they are not pieces.
TOPS meets at Nashville Global Methodist Church on Wednesdays at 5:30 p.m., with weigh-in at 5 p.m. The first meeting is free.
