The Wooster Camera Club will continue its 2011 season with a meeting on Tuesday, Sept. 6, at 7 p.m., in the First United Methodist Church of Wooster. A photo program - Landscape Photography for the Joy of It – will be presented by Dick Edington, a themed presentation on the basics of landscape photography and much, much more. Refreshments will follow the program. The Wooster Camera Club meets the first Monday of each month at 7 p.m. from September through June in the First United Methodist Church of Wooster, at the corner of North Market and East Larwill streets. The club welcomes new members who enjoy photography. The operation of the club is basically informal, although a short business meeting precedes the program of the month. There is always a program by members or guests at each meeting. The programs cover a variety of photographic subjects, including digital photography. There is an annual dinner meeting in April with a guest presenter. The year’s schedule of events includes photo displays in the Wayne County area, and several field trips to various parks, garden sites, or other photogenic locations.
