A Wooster Wayne County Church Women United board of managers meeting was held Monday, Jan. 28 at The Barn Restaurant in Smithville at noon.
President Kathleen Hawman called the meeting to order. JoAnn Jolliff lead the devotion. Installation of officers for the year are as follows: Kathleen Hawman, president; Nancy Norton, vice president; Joann Jolliff, devotional leader; Jan Braund, recording secretary; Mary Bricker, corresponding secretary; Maxine Smith, treasurer; Delores Eicher, nominating committee; and Ernestine Hause, publicity.
Minutes of the last meeting received and accepted. There were 14 area churches for the year end.
Friday, March 1, at Zion Lutheran Church, 301 N. Market St., Wooster. Registration at 1:30 p.m. Seasons of Prayer for all humanity. Speaker: Charlotte J. Marky, author of Journey to Freedom. In-gathering of paper products. For more information, contact Nancy Norton 330-262-6439.
