Mrs. Marjorie Hard Robison was a surprised young lady Friday night when she was given a miscellaneous shower by a large number of her friends at the home of Miss Phil Poncler on Nold avenue. The guests were made up of neighbors and employees of the Clapper Bag factory. The bride of a week learned at this time that her friends were not only numerous but loyal to her for her list of presents was indeed very beautiful and some of them were quite elaborate articles. Following unwrapping of the gifts, a session of games was enjoyed, the evening closing with the serving of refreshments.

Wm. Rice, Jr., now claims one of Wooster's prettiest young ladies as his bride, Miss Nelle Miller, the vows being taken at the home of the officiating minister, Rev. Heilman. They were attended by Miss Estella Smith and Mr. Clifford Johnson. The couple left on the 1:15 limited for a brief wedding trip to Niagra Falls. Thus they eluded all friends who had planned to shower them with wedding missiles. These young people are well mated and have a large circle of friends who are interested in them. The bride is very popular and made a very charming bride. The groom represents the Washburn-Crosby Co., of Akron, an excellent position. Mrs. Rice is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Benj. Miller of West Liberty street. The former is a graduate of the Wooster high school in '08 and the latter of the class of '05.
