Mother Nature not happy with her subjects

Mother Nature not happy with her subjects

Yesterday, just as I was taking my little dog outside, a gust of wind caught us as we walked out the door.

Looking up all I could see was a blue sky and bright sunshine, but over the noise of the wind, we could hear a few rolls of thunder. Thankfully, my dog rushed to take care of her business so we could hurry back inside.

As we stepped inside there was suddenly an enormous thunder roar, scaring both dog
and me. My dog ran and got under the couch. I ran into our bedroom and crawled under our bed.

It is amazing how much dust can accumulate under a bed — I crawled out when things got quieter but was totally covered in gray dust, giving me a rather ghostly appearance.

The storm moved on and the rain started. Less than fifteen minutes later, the rain stopped. Some folks in town got plenty of rain, large hail, high winds, lots of scary thunder, but all we got were twelve minutes of light rain and two scary blasts of thunder.

Mother Nature is obviously in a bad mood. I suspect she is very unhappy about global warming. She blames humans for not taking proper care of our beautiful planet. Our ice will melt, our seas will rise, and temperatures will get hotter and hotter.

At some point, we can only hope that Mother Nature will begin to feel sorry for all of us and help us find a cure for the mess we have made. Let’s hope a cure comes before we
all melt.

Wish us good luck to find a quick effective way to correct our mistakes and make Mother Nature happy again.
