EH BOE reaches 3-year agreement with teachers
East Holmes Local Schools Board of Education met in a special session on Saturday, April 6 at the East Holmes Central Office.
The board did the following during the meeting:
—Accepted the negotiated agreement between the East Holmes Board of Education and the East Holmes Teachers’ Association. The agreement covers the period from July 1, 2024, through June 30, 2027.
—Approved an increase in the base rate for all certified and classified employees at a rate of 3% for the 2024-25 school year, 3% for the 2025-26 school year, 4% for the 2026-27 school year, and an increase in the classified substitute rates as outlined on the classified salary schedule.
—Approved the administrative handbook for July 1, 2024, through June 30, 2027, with similar pay increases and insurance plans as the teachers’ contract.
—Approved the revised East Holmes Local School District employee handbook.
The next regular board meeting is scheduled for April 19 at the East Holmes Central Office.
