BOE holds a special meeting
Strasburg Board of Education held a special meeting on July 29 to award contracts prior to the first day of school on Aug. 20. Ken Jarvis and Tiffany Sensel were hired as permanent substitute teachers for the 2024-25 school year.
The board also did the following:
—Awarded one-year supplemental coaching contracts to Brian Reidenbach, Craig Moore and Peyton Speicher, varsity football assistants; Tom Spidell, volunteer varsity football assistant; and Scott Baughman and Travis Dreher, middle school football.
—Issued one-year supplemental coaching contracts to Jessica Boylan, reserve volleyball; Jessica Barkley, seventh-grade volleyball; and Tiffany Sensel, eighth-grade volleyball.
—Granted one-year coaching supplemental contracts to Maddox Kruger, varsity boys golf; Brett Hershberger, middle school golf; Hannah Geyer, middle school cheerleading; and Sarah Henry, color guard.
