Morgan Miller, a senior in the Cosmetology program, is Buckeye Career Centers April Student of the Month. According to Shannon Wigfield, Language Arts instructor, Morgan is an amazing young lady who shows great leadership in my class.
She is Vice President of Buckeyes chapter of SkillsUSA and President of Leadership Council. She was recently selected as Buckeyes representative for the Tuscarawas County Chamber of Commerce Leadership Award.
Morgan is an active member of COCE (Congress of Christian Education) through the St. Johns Worship and Praise Community Church in Uhrichsville. She will be participating in a mission project in Nebraska this fall. She is employed at Hollister in Canton. She is the daughter of Elizabeth Miller of Dover.
Upon graduation she will take her cosmetology state board exam. Future plans include studying abroad, building up her clientele and opening her own salon in her hometown.
