Burtscher named Student of the Month
Zane Burtscher, a senior in the Industrial Electricity program, has been named Buckeye Career Centers September Student of the Month. Tim Septer, Industrial Electricity instructor, said this: Zane is a model student. He is the first on task and the last to quit. His work ethic, intelligence, and overall demeanor are beyond his years. Zane is honest, trustworthy, dependable, and an overall joy to have as a student.
According to his math instructor, Kendra Yoder, Zane is an amazing student that does not succumb to peer pressure. He has completed all his work nightly without complaints and sets the bar high for all other students to achieve. He is not a griper or complainer. He is a hardworking, intelligent, and very well-mannered student.
He is on the honor roll and has perfect attendance during his time at the career center. Upon graduation he plans to start his career in industrial electricity or further his education in the electrical field.
His home school is Indian Valley High School and he is the son of Joe and Diana Burtscher of Newcomerstown.
