Visitors will have the chance to tour the building and visit any of the over 30 high school programs offered in the 2024-25 school year.

                        

Buckeye Career Center will again open its doors to prospective students, family members, alumni, past staff and community members during its annual fall open house on Thursday, Nov. 16 from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at Buckeye Career Center in New Philadelphia.

Visitors will have the chance to tour the building and visit any of the over 30 high school programs offered in the 2024-25 school year including the two new high school programs of dental assisting and fire/EMS technology.

Attendees can meet instructors and academic teachers and view classrooms and program labs. Academic displays will be available for viewing in the cafeteria. Attendees will be offered a complimentary meal, and students who apply for the 2024-25 school year, while at the open house, will receive a small gift.

Adult education staff also will have information for those interested in the Adult Diploma Program or other part-time/career enhancement options. They also will have information on all full-time adult programs, which begin in the fall.

Alumni and past staff are invited to gather in the Joe Carlisle Marketplace for light refreshments. Past yearbooks will be displayed, and alumni will receive a gift for attending. The Joe Carlisle Marketplace also will be open for visitors to purchase cookies, coffee, flowers, meat and BCC apparel.

The event is free and open to the public. Advanced registration is not required, but visiting high school students are asked to sign in at the cafeteria or at the registration table in the energy operations building.
