Central Catholic students recognized
Tuscarawas Central Catholic announced its December Student of the Month recipients.
Emily Kuemerle was chosen as the TCC Junior High Student of the Month. She is the daughter of Jason and Amber Kuemerle of Sugarcreek. She plays softball, and her favorite classes are science and history. Her hobby is raising and showing pigs. She said the best advice she ever received was “keep going even if something doesn’t go your way.” Getting straight A’s is a goal she works hard to accomplish.
Katie Ross was chosen as the TCC High School Student of the Month. She is the daughter of Doug and Jody Ross of Dennison. Her extracurricular activities include cheerleading and Youth-to-Youth. Her favorite classes are algebra, music and history. Cheerleading, babysitting and movie nights with her cousins are her hobbies. The best advice she received was “a good friend is someone who sees your flaws, rather than tell you that you are perfect” and “always keep your head up high.”
After high school Ross plans to attend Aveda to learn the skills to cut and style hair and also become a nail and a waxing technician. She also would like to go to Kent State University at Tuscarawas to learn about business.
