Holmes County and quilting may go hand-in-hand, but the zany quilters gathering at West Holmes High School are the likes which probably few in this neck of the woods have seen. The quilters are members of West Holmes High School, and nine talented teens will get together on May 1, to perform the whodunit caper The Crazy Quilter’s Club at 7 p.m., in Excaliber Theater. The one-night only show will be performed in the round, with the audience seated up on the stage surrounding the actors, as they act out this murder mystery comedy in which one of the elderly ladies of the quilt club expires due to some spiked punch which is packed with more than simply fruit punch. The play is set at a retirement home, and the audience is invited to play along with the actors as they try to decipher who is guilty of offing the little old retired lady of the quilt club. In addition to the show, there will be a dessert buffet offered, and tickets are only $5 for the entire package. You won’t want to miss this spring show which will keep you guessing, and laughing, all the way to the surprising end. To order tickets, call the high school at 330-674-6085.
