The second annual createHER Day, a day of lectures and breakout sessions led by women leaders, will be held on Saturday, April 13 from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Ruth W. Williams Hall of Life Science, 931 College Mall, on the campus of the College of Wooster.

This year’s event will feature five women who will each give a presentation. Kimothy Joy, an artist, social activist and author of “That’s What She Said: Wise Words From Influential Women,” will deliver the keynote address. She also will hold a book-signing.

Other presenters include Kate Volzer, CEO and co-founder of Wisr, an alumni networking platform; Andrea Pierce-Naymon, founder of OY-L, an all-natural skincare line; and Janae Bryson, founder and brand stylist of Auden & Company, a media and branding company.

Lisa Quine, an internationally recognized hand-lettering artist, muralist and graphic designer, will do a live mural for guests to participate in throughout the day, and Emily Harpel, founder of Art of Sucre, will spin cotton candy for guests.

Marina Rosales, event planner for the Center for Entrepreneurship at Wooster, launched the createHER initiative in fall 2017 with a mission to inspire women to become leaders in both their professional and personal lives through education and mentorship.

Tickets, which include a continental breakfast and lunch, are $20 for general admission, $10 for faculty and staff, and $5 for College of Wooster students and can be purchased at www.eventbrite.com/e/createher-day-2019-tickets-49387399040.
