Cruise-In by the Lake returns to career center Saturday, May 1

The annual Ashland County-West Holmes Career Center Cruise-In by the Lake will take place on the school grounds at 1783 SR 60, Ashland, on Saturday, May 1, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. This is a rain or shine event sponsored by Auto Body Technology students. Dash plaques will be given to the first 100 car and motorcycle entries. Trophies will be awarded to the winners at 1:30 p.m. The cruise-in is a great way to spend the day with the family. Everyone in attendance may register for a 50/50 drawing and door prizes. A live DJ will play music from the ‘50s, ‘60s, and ‘70s. Food concession items prepared by Culinary Careers Management students, such as barbecue ribs and burgers, will be available. While the car show is going on outside, Interact Club students will be sponsoring their annual craft show and yard sale inside, with club proceeds going to the Crystal Finley Memorial Scholarship Fund.
