Kingsway Christian School students make music at Malone University

The Kingsway Christian School Middle School band spent the day improving their musical skills under the direction of Dr. Bridges, the band director of Malone University. The students started the day with two hours of rehearsal focusing on sound technique and listening skills while receiving individual attention from Malone student band directors. While at the university, Kingsway students enjoyed a tour of the campus and were treated to a buffet lunch. The culmination of the day was for the young musicians to attend Malone’s spring concert that evening. The students had a few hours between rehearsal and the concert so they enjoyed time at North Canton Roller Rink and dinner at Taggart’s Ice Cream Parlor in Canton. The students then headed back to the Malone Performance Art Center to absorb the beautiful melodies of the symphonic band. The concert was very special to the students because they personally got to meet some of the Malone band members and the director.
