Leadership Tuscarawas now accepting applications for upcoming 2010-2011 class

Leadership Tuscarawas is a unique program that is designed to provide a variety of leadership skills and to educate individuals about the strengths, challenges, and opportunities of Tuscarawas County. Leadership Tuscarawas is now accepting applications for the 2010-2011 class. The class will begin with an orientation and a county-wide bus tour in August, and will then meet the second Tuesday of each month from September through May. Applications are available at http://leadershiptusc.org or by contacting Heather Beck at 330-340-5105, or information@leadershiptusc.org. The application deadline is June 16. The Leadership Tuscarawas program is open to any new or existing Tuscarawas County resident or individual who is working within the county, including top-level management, business, and industry, non-profit organizations, civic employees, community volunteers, and anyone who wishes to develop, enhance, and increase their leadership skills and awareness of Tuscarawas County. Now entering its ninth year, Leadership Tuscarawas was created through the efforts of a steering committee. A volunteer board of devoted and committed members has worked diligently to develop a quality community leadership program that is proactive in cultivating the volunteer business and civic leadership resources that exist within Tuscarawas County.
