New officers for TCUF
The Tuscarawas County University Foundation board of directors recently elected the following officers: president, Doug Ross; vice president, Barbara Singhaus; secretary, Molly Doughten; and treasurer, Walter Gritzan.Re-appointed to continued three-year terms are Michael Cochran, Michael Noretto and Joseph Sekely. Additional board members are Charles L. Deeds, Robert Espenschied, Zoe Ann Kelley, Roger Lile, Sally O'Donnell, Michael Taylor and emeritus member John R. Demuth. Carla Barker serves as recording secretary and Dr. Gregg Andrews is an ex-officio member.
The Tuscarawas County University Foundation provides scholarships and student loans to Kent State University at Tuscarawas students, and supports academic programs and campus projects.
The foundation raises funds through an annual fund drive, endowments, gifts of tribute, bequests and gifts of annuities, securities and real estate. The foundation was established in 1968 to sustain and advance a high standard of excellence at Kent State University at Tuscarawas.
