NPHS seniors participate in honor band at Capital University

Chris Perrine and Matt Warner, both seniors at New Philadelphia High School, recently participated in the 2010 Wind Band Invitational Honor Band at Capital University in Bexley. Participants are required to audition and are selected based on their musical talent and ability. Guest conductor for the band was world renowned composer Brian Balmages.
Perrine and Warner are both active in the New Philadelphia Marching Quaker Band, symphonic band, jazz band, solo and ensemble, and indoor percussion ensemble.
Chris plays alto saxophone and is the son of Beth Perrine.
Matt plays trombone and is the son of Mike and Brenda Warner.
