Registration open for WCS kindergarten, preschool
                        

The Wooster City School District began accepting applications for Littlest Generals Preschool on Feb. 1.

Classes will begin Aug. 16 at the Early Learning Center on North Grant Street. These are half-day sessions, and transportation is provided.

Requirements for students include age 3 or 4 by Aug. 1, not eligible for kindergarten and residence within the school district. There is a sliding scale fee for eligible families.

Applications are available at www.Wooster-oh.finalforms.com. All forms and necessary documents need to be completed and turned in before students will be registered.

If your child will be age 5 by Aug. 1, registration/screening for kindergarten is now open.

Registration is online at www.Wooster-oh.finalforms.com, after which the registrar or building secretary will be in contact to set up appointments for screening on either Wednesday, March 29 from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. or Thursday, April 27 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Documents needed to enroll include the child’s birth certificate, immunization records, proof of residence and proof of custody or guardianship if applicable.

Immunization records needed are Dtap, four or more doses, last dose after age 4; polio, three or more doses, last after age 4; hepatitis B, three or more doses, last after 24 weeks; MMR, two doses; and varicella, two doses.

Documents can be uploaded into Final Forms, faxed to 330-262-3407 or taken to the screening appointment.
