The University of Akron Wayne College will be holding an information session for those interested in learning more about the university’s fall 2013 Saturday MBA program being held at Wayne College. The information night will be held on Monday, Feb. 25 at 6:30 p.m. in the Student Life Building at Wayne College, 1901 Smucker Rd., Orrville. No RSVP is necessary. The Saturday MBA program is designed to fit the lifestyle of busy professionals, with classes held two Saturdays each month for six semesters. The program uses distance learning (DL) technology that allows students at two locations to participate simultaneously. Students receive instruction in person from the professor one Saturday each month and are instructed via DL on the other Saturday. The classes are taught by professors of The University of Akron College of Business Administration, which is a nationally recognized school of business accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB). Admission criteria for the Saturday MBA program include a 500 minimum GMAT score, a bachelor’s degree (in business or another area) with a minimum 3.0 GPA, and two years of professional work experience. Potential students or employers who would like more information may contact Wendy Cundiff, academic adviser, at 330-684-8907 or wcundif@uakron.edu.
