Smithville seeks Wall of Fame nominees
The Green Local School District is continuing its new tradition that celebrates the notable achievements of past graduates and inspires future generations as the second year of the Smithville Alumni Wall of Fame kicks off. The district is once again accepting nominations for the 2024 class of inductees.
The Smithville Alumni Wall of Fame honors outstanding alumni whose contributions and accomplishments serve as a testament to the values and excellence fostered at Green Local Schools. By recognizing these deserving individuals, the district hopes to motivate current students to pursue greatness and actively contribute to the success of the Smithville community.
The district wishes to build on this tradition as a way to honor the rich history of Smithville, using it to inspire youth at Green Local Schools and showing them a way to show them how to aim high and achieve their fullest potential.
Community members are invited to nominate alumni who exemplify the spirit of a Smithie and have made a lasting impact in their personal and professional lives.
To submit a nomination, visit the Green Local Schools website and click on the “Alumni Hall of Fame” tab on the district’s home page or visit the high school main office or district board office for a copy of the nomination form.
