Williams moves to regionals
Nick Williams
The Tuscarawas Central Catholic Junior/Senior High School Spelling Bee winner is Nick Williams, a seventh-grader at Tuscarawas Central Catholic Junior High in New Philadelphia.
Williams correctly spelled the word veranda to claim the title after more than 20 rounds of tense spelling action. He is the son of Greg and Lindsay Williams. He will compete at the regional spelling bee on March 7 at GlenOak High School located at 1801 Schneider St NE in Canton.
