Wooster AAUW is taking scholarship applications
The Wooster branch of AAUW is now accepting applications for its 2024 AAUW Scholarship Program. The Wooster AAUW Scholarship is available to Wayne County women whose post-secondary education was interrupted and are enrolled or enrolling as nontraditional students in an accredited undergraduate associate or bachelor’s degree program. Women pursuing graduate degree or certification/licensure needed for employment also may be considered.
Awards, based on need and available funds, range from $500-$2,500. Awards can be used for tuition and fees required for enrollment. Prior recipients are eligible to reapply. The number of renewals is at the discretion of the committee.
The deadline for applications is March 15. The online scholarship application and instructions for applying can be found on the Wooster branch of AAUW website or on the Wayne County Community Foundation website. Scholarship recipients will be notified by June 1, and funds will be distributed after July 1.
