Mr. and Mrs. Willis Gardner, of Sugarcreek, celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary with a family dinner at Dutch Valley Restaurant.
Hosts for the dinner were their daughters, Linda (Jim) Karcher and Gail Edgar and friend Steve Maag. The Gardners have six grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
The former Doris Wingeier and Willie were married July 26, 1947, by Rev. Milton G. Petzold. Doris retired from the Baltic IGA and retired from Andreas Furniture in Sugarcreek.
The couple are members of St. Johns Lutheran Church in Baltic. They also are members and are active in many other organizations.
