On Dec. 26, 1950, Lyman and Beverly Hostetler were married at Martins Creek Mennonite Church in Millersburg with Paul R. Miller officiating.
After serving a term of Mennonite Voluntary Service in Greensburg, Kan., the Hostetlers moved to Berlin. Lyman worked at Owens-Illinois, from which he retired as plant manager in 1991. Beverly worked as a homemaker and also as a cook at Berlin Elementary School. They raised three children: Brad Hostetler of Mansfield; Phil Hostetler of Groveport; and Sheri Hostetler of Alameda, Calif. They also have five grandchildren.
The Hostetlers currently live in Berlin and Sarasota, Fla. Lyman enjoys walking, biking and golf. Beverly enjoys gardening, cooking and baking. They are both members of Martins Creek Mennonite Church.
