Open house to be held to celebrate Marian Prysi’s 85th birthday

Marian Prysi of Dover will celebrate her 85th birthday at an open house on Sunday, Feb. 21, from 2-4 p.m. in the fellowship hall of the First United Church of Christ in Sugarcreek, where she is a member. Born Feb. 14, 1925, in New Philadelphia, she was the youngest of six children of Homer and Amelia Kaderly. She has lived all her life on a farm in Sugarcreek Township, where she still resides today. On Nov. 1, 1949, she married Joe Prysi, who passed away in May 1991. Hosting the event will be her children, Roger (Kathy) Prysi of Newcomerstown, Peggy (Robert) Jones of Dundee, and Jerry (Dale) Prysi of Dover. Seven grandchildren, two stepgrandsons, and two stepgreat-grandchildren complete the family. It is requested that gifts be omitted. Cards are welcome.
