Wayne-Holmes Right to Life hosts Pro-Life Oratory Contest

Wayne-Holmes Right to Life is accepting registrants for their Pro-Life Oratory Contest. The contest is for sophomores, juniors and seniors in high school and involves writing and delivering a five to seven minute speech on abortion, adoption, euthanasia or embryonic stem cell research from a pro-life perspective. Speeches need not be memorized. Cash prizes of $100, $50, and $25 will be awarded to the first, second and third place finishers, respectively. The first place winner will have the opportunity to compete at Ohio Right to Lifes statewide competition in April, must be a junior or senior to advance. The local event is at 7 p.m. on Monday, March 25 at the Wayne County Public Library in Wooster. Students must be registered in advance.
