A total of 257 different families came to the Love Center during March. Some families came more than once, making a total of 343 visits.

                        

A total of 257 different families came to the Love Center during March. Some families came more than once, making a total of 343 visits. Food from the Akron-Canton Regional Food Bank was 20,309 pounds, and food donated by businesses, churches and individuals was 6,965 pounds. Volunteer hours served at the Love Center totaled 831.

Food and cash donations from churches and ministries included Gateway Fellowship, Gospel Haven, Martins Creek Mennonite Church, Millersburg Methodist Church, St John’s Church of Walnut Creek, St John’s Evangelical Covenant Church, and St John’s Women’s Ministry, Millersburg.

Food and cash donations from businesses, organizations and clubs included Amish Door Market, Ashery, Berlin Natural Bakery, Emma Cates Crust Bakery, Coblentz Chocolates, Der Dutchman, Dollar Tree, Farmerstown Auction, Farmside Country Market, Green Leaf Acres, Hershberger Farm & Bakery, Jitters Coffee House, Kauffman Bakery, and Mac Oil Field Service, Inc.

Food and cash donations from individuals included Brian Barbey, James Beechy, Ray Casdorph, Glen Coblentz, Kay Earney, Debra Eckleberry, Frank Gnizak, Dave Hostetler, Winifred Huprick, Sharon Huston Estate, Sue Kauffman, Norene McDowell, Betty Mullet, Carl Novak, Ricky Seymour, Donna Weaver, Katharyn Wheeler, and nine anonymous.

Cash contributions for the general fund can be sent to P.O. Box 31, Millersburg, OH 44654, and food donations can be dropped off at the Love Center at 1291 Massillon Road, Suite A, Millersburg, any Monday, Wednesday or Friday.
