A 4-H invitation to the fair
Letter to the Editor,
Hi, my name is Hayden Sheldon. I am 13 years old and go to West Holmes Middle School, in the eighth grade. This is my eighth year in the Doughty Valley 4-H Club, and this year I am taking a pet rabbit, market rabbits and a market turkey to the Holmes County Fair.
I enjoy taking care of my animals and spending time with them. The best part is teaching my pet rabbit new tricks. The one thing I don’t like doing is cleaning up after them, but it gets easier over time.
The Holmes County Fair will be Aug. 5-10. I will sell my turkey on Aug. 8 and my rabbits on Aug. 9. Hope to see you there and supporting the 4-H and FFA members.
