Database showcase

Summer is typically full of outdoor projects and backyard picnics. Orrville Public Library’s free online database, Home Improvement Reference Center, will help with everything on one’s to-do list. From keeping a gas grill running efficiently to cleaning a pool and choosing a new mower, the site has the information you need to get the project done right.

From the drop-down menu on the library website at www.orrville.lib.oh.us/, click the Adults tab and then click on Research Databases. Under the Research heading, click on Plus many more, then scroll to Home Improvement Reference Center. If accessing the page from outside the library, you will need to enter your library card number.

Choose from the many topics that are listed or use the Search box to find what you’re looking for. The site features full text from leading home-improvement magazines and images and videos of popular home-repair projects. There also is a Homeowners Journal template to help you keep track of the details of your home and the repairs that have been done.

For more information contact the library.
