Applications are now available for the Miss Clayland Scholarship Competition to be held on Saturday, Oct. 12 at Claymont High School.
Miss Clayland contestants will compete in four phases of competition: private interview, evening wear and social impact statement, talent, and on-stage question. Scholarships totaling more than $3,000 will be awarded, and the winner will have the opportunity to compete at the Miss Ohio Competition in June 2020. Contestants must be between the age of 18-25.
Applications are available at www.missohio.org/compete/ under Miss 2019-2020 Local Candidate Documents and at www.missohio.org/preliminary-programs/ with additional forms listed under the Miss Clayland local program.
Deadline for application is Sept. 15.
The Miss Clayland Scholarship Program is a preliminary to the Miss Ohio and Miss America programs.
The Miss Clayland Scholarship Competition is the longest running local competition in the state of Ohio and one of the longest running local competitions in the United States.
